Being a member of OWCA provides you an opportunity to participate in the future of Oregon’s workers’ compensation system through:

A Legislative Voice

The OWCA Board and Legislative committee have many years experience in watching and influencing state and federal legislation. OWCA has a contracted lobbyist who works hard to keep our interests at the forefront. The workers’ compensation reforms of the 1990 and 1995 would not have been possible without the OWCA and its resources.

Professional Seminars and Continuing Education Credits

OWCA sponsors an Annual Conference in July and a joint Winter Meeting/Economic Forecast seminar in January; both offering continuing education credits for professionals working in the workers’ compensation arena.

Networking

Areas of expertise are as varied as the members of OWCA. Participating in OWCA provides a unique opportunity to get to know the variety of professions and organizations that play a key role in our workers compensation system.
